McLaren Flat is a small town in South Australia. It is located south of Adelaide in an area called the McLaren Vale/Willunga basin. The town sits on flat land to the east of McLaren Vale. You can find it on the road that leads to Kangarilla.

In 2016, about 1,537 people lived in the McLaren Flat area. Most of them, around 1,121, lived right in the town centre.
