Michael Allan Coe, born on December 17, 1983, is a former American football player. He played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for several teams. These teams included the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, and Dallas Cowboys. He also played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Before turning professional, he played college football for the Alabama State Hornets.

Early Life and High School Football
Michael Coe grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. He went to Cordova High School. During his junior year, he was a talented player. He caught 20 passes for 675 yards and scored 4 touchdowns.
In his senior year, Michael played both offense and defense. He was a wide receiver and a cornerback. He gained over 1,400 receiving yards. On defense, he made 25 tackles, caught 5 interceptions, and broke up 10 passes. He earned many awards for his great play. These included All-state and Offensive Player of the Year for his class.
Michael was also a star in track. He set a new school record in the 400 metres race. He won the conference title in that event four times.
College Football Journey
Michael Coe started his college football career at the University of Arkansas. As a freshman, he played in 13 games. He was a backup cornerback and made 4 tackles.
In his second year, injuries limited his playing time. He played in 8 games and started 6 of them. He recorded 24 tackles and 2 interceptions.
As a junior, he played in all 11 games. He started 8 games and made 30 tackles. He also had 3 interceptions and broke up 7 passes. After this season, he decided to move to Alabama State University. His father was the head football coach there at the time.

Indianapolis Colts Draft Pick
The Indianapolis Colts picked Michael Coe in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL draft. He was the 173rd player chosen overall. As a rookie, he played in 6 games. He made 7 tackles and recovered one fumble. He also blocked a punt against the Baltimore Ravens, which resulted in a safety.
In 2008, Michael injured his knee during practice. He was placed on the injured reserve list. In 2009, he tore a muscle before a preseason game. He was then released by the Colts.
