Mindenmines is a small city in Barton County, Missouri, in the United States. In 2020, about 271 people lived there. The city is located about four miles east of Frontenac, Kansas. Mindenmines has had its own post office since 1883. It is also home to the Bank of Minden. The city's name has changed a few times: it was called Tusconia from 1883 to 1884, Minden Mines from 1884 to 1895, and Mindenmines since 1895.

Mindenmines is located in the western part of Barton County, Missouri. It is about 16 miles west of Lamar, Missouri, along US Route 160. The border between Missouri and Kansas is very close, only about 1.5 miles to the west.
The city covers a total area of about 3.80 square miles (9.82 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 3.65 square miles (9.45 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 0.15 square miles (0.38 square kilometers), is water.

History of Mindenmines
The town was first planned by Captain J. R. Tucker on March 19, 1883. He named it Minden. However, just one year later, the name was changed to Mindenmines. This was because mail kept getting mixed up with another town called Mendon, Missouri. The word "mines" was added to the name because many people in the area worked in coal mining.
