The Minions' Long Search for a Master
The Minions are small, yellow creatures who have been around since the beginning of time. They started as tiny single-celled organisms. Over time, they changed into beings whose only goal is to serve the most evil masters in history. But they often cause trouble for their bosses by accident!
For example, they once rolled a Tyrannosaurus into a volcano. They also got their caveman leader eaten by a bear. They even crushed a Pharaoh under a pyramid because they built it upside-down. They accidentally exposed Count Dracula to sunlight. And they fired a cannon at Napoleon while in Russia. Because of all these accidents, the Minions ended up living alone in a huge cave.
After many years, the Minions became sad and bored. They had no master to serve. To feel important again, Kevin decided to find a new boss. He asked Stuart and Bob to join him on this big adventure.
Finding a New Supervillain Boss
In 1968, Kevin, Stuart, and Bob traveled to New York City. They spent a night in a department store. There, they accidentally saw a secret TV ad for Villain-Con. This was a big meeting for all villains and supervillains in Orlando, Florida.
The three Minions managed to get a ride with the Nelson family. The Nelsons were robbers, and the Minions accidentally helped them escape the police. This made the Nelsons very impressed! At Villain-Con, the Minions met Scarlet Overkill. She was a very famous and popular female supervillain. To their surprise, Scarlet hired them! She took them to her home in England. The Minions then called the rest of their friends to join them.
King Bob and Scarlet's Plan
Scarlet Overkill had a big plan: she wanted to steal the Imperial State Crown from Queen Elizabeth II. She promised to reward the Minions if they succeeded. But she also said she would get rid of them if they failed! Her husband, Herb, gave them cool inventions to help with the heist.
They tried to break into the Tower of London. They almost got caught! During a chase, Bob accidentally crashed into the Sword in the Stone. He pulled it out to protect his friends. This caused Bob to become King, taking the Queen's place! Scarlet was furious that someone else had achieved her dream of taking the throne. Bob, being kind, gave up the throne for her.
Even so, Scarlet was still angry. She locked the three Minions in a dungeon before her coronation. Herb tried to make them suffer, but they managed to escape. They wanted to apologize to Scarlet.
The Big Battle in London
Stuart and Bob made their way to Westminster Abbey. They accidentally interrupted Scarlet's coronation by dropping a chandelier on her! Scarlet survived and caught them. She then ordered everyone to get rid of them. Many villains chased the Minions during a thunderstorm.
Kevin went into a pub where the Queen was hanging out. He saw Scarlet on TV, saying she would get rid of Stuart and Bob if Kevin didn't show up. With villains still looking for him, Kevin snuck into Scarlet's castle. He wanted to steal weapons. He accidentally turned on a machine Herb was building. This made Kevin grow into a giant Minion, destroying the castle!
Giant Kevin stomped through London. He rescued his friends and fought Scarlet. Just then, the other Minions arrived in London. Scarlet tried to get rid of them by firing a huge missile. Kevin bravely swallowed it! Scarlet and Herb tried to escape in her rocket dress. But Kevin held onto it and was pulled into the sky. The missile exploded, and it looked like Kevin, Scarlet, and Herb were gone. The Minions were sad, but then Kevin survived and returned to his normal size!
The Queen got her throne and crown back. She gave Bob a tiny crown for his teddy bear. Stuart received an electric guitar, which he quickly wrecked while playing. Kevin was given a knighthood. Then, a young Gru appeared, riding a rocket-powered motorbike with the crown! The Minions ran after him, deciding he was the perfect boss they had been searching for.
