Moiry is a small town, also called a municipality, in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. It is part of the Morges area.

History of Moiry

Moiry was first written about in the year 1011. Back then, it was known as in villa Moriei. Later, in 1219, its name was recorded as Moirie.

Moiry covers an area of about 6.67 square kilometers (2.58 square miles). This is roughly the size of 930 football fields!
