Molang is a fun animated TV show for kids. It was created by the animation studio Millimages. The main character, Molang, was first designed by a Korean artist named Hye-Ji Yoon for a messaging app called KakaoTalk.
The show first aired in France in November 2015. Since then, many seasons and special episodes have been made. You can watch Molang in over 190 countries! It's become a huge hit, with toys, books, music, and even GIFs. In 2019, the first season became available on Netflix around the world. More seasons are planned for the future.

The show is all about the funny and unique friendship between Molang and Piu Piu. They face everyday problems in a humorous way.
The Story of Molang and Piu Piu
In the first three seasons, the show explores the daily lives of Molang and Piu Piu. Molang is a cheerful and excited rabbit. Piu Piu is a shy and quiet little chick. Their friendship is full of warmth and humor.
Season 4 takes their friendship on a journey through time! Molang and Piu Piu travel from the Stone Age to the 20th century. They visit Ancient Greece and even the Royal Court of Versailles. No matter where or when they are, their cleverness and good spirits shine through. This season reminds us that true friendship can last forever. It also shows us that happiness can be found at any time!
Main Characters
- Molang is a rabbit who makes every moment special. They put their heart into everything they do, even when just relaxing. Molang is joyful and enthusiastic.
- Piu Piu is a small yellow chick. Piu Piu is shy and doesn't like being the center of attention. They like to do things carefully and correctly. If something unexpected happens, Piu Piu can get a bit worried.
- Molang and Piu Piu's friends are other bunny rabbits. They look just like Molang!

Molang Products and Merchandise
Molang is also a popular brand for many products. The slogan for all Molang products is "My Best Friend." There are over 100 companies that make Molang items. This includes more than 700 different products! You can find clothes for kids and adults, children's books, magazines, stickers, and more.
Molang Books
In November 2016, a French publisher called Flammarion released four small books and a big album based on the show. More books came out in 2017, including flap books where you can search for hidden characters.
Scholastic Inc., a big publisher of children's books, has also published Molang books. These include 8x8 books and an album, often with stickers. They are sold in stores and through school book clubs.
In October 2018, an Italian publisher called Gribaudo released six activity books. These books have games, coloring pages, stickers, and other fun activities. A German publisher, Nelson Verlag, also planned to release Molang mini-books in 2020.
