Moses Brings Plenty was born in Pine Ridge Reservation, which is in South Dakota. He comes from a long line of important people. He is a direct descendant of a brave Oglala Lakota warrior named Brings Plenty. This warrior fought in a famous battle called the Battle of Little Big Horn.

Moses also had a nephew named Cole Brings Plenty. Cole acted in two episodes of the TV show 1923. Cole passed away on April 5, 2024, when he was 27 years old.
