Moulay Hassan (Arabic: مولاي الحسن بن محمد, romanized: Mawlāyy al-Ḥasan bin Muḥammad) was born on May 8, 2003. He is the Crown Prince of Morocco. This means he is next in line to become the king.
He is the oldest child of King Mohammed VI and Princess Salma. Moulay Hassan has a younger sister named Princess Khadija. He was named after his grandfather, King Hassan II. Since 2013, he has been joining his father at important public events.

Early Life and School
Moulay Hassan was born at the Royal Palace in Rabat. His parents are King Mohammed VI and Princess Salma. He is the first child of the current king.
He went to the Royal College in Rabat for his primary, middle, and high school education. Moulay Hassan is very good with languages. Besides his first language, Arabic, he also speaks English, French, and Spanish.
In 2020, he finished high school at the Royal College. He then joined a special university program at the Faculty of Governance and Economic and Social Sciences (FGSES) in Sala Al Jadida. He chose to study international relations.
Important Royal Duties
As the Crown Prince, Moulay Hassan has many important duties. He was the youngest person to attend the One Planet Summit in France in 2017. This summit was about protecting the environment. People around the world noticed him there.
In June 2019, Moulay Hassan represented his father, King Mohammed VI. He helped launch a new part of the Tanger Med port. This made Tanger-Med a very important port in the Mediterranean Sea.
Later that year, in September, Moulay Hassan went to the funeral of former French President Jacques Chirac in Paris. He also attended a lunch hosted by President Emmanuel Macron for the leaders present.
In November 2022, Moulay Hassan opened a special exhibition and museum. It was about the life of the Prophet and Islamic history. In December 2022, he joined his father and uncle to welcome the national football team. This was after their great performance in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Hobbies and Interests
Moulay Hassan enjoys several hobbies. He loves playing football and basketball. When he was younger, he played football at a training center in Rabat with other children. He also practices horse riding. His father, King Mohammed VI, has personally followed his training.
In 2016, a magazine described Moulay Hassan as a son who listens to his father's advice. In 2018, a special private jet was given to him for his royal duties. He was also very keen to join his university's basketball club, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
