Mount Brewer is a tall mountain in California. It is part of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, specifically a smaller section called the Great Western Divide. You can find this mountain inside Kings Canyon National Park.
The mountain was named after William Henry Brewer. He was an important person who worked on the first California Geological Survey. This survey was like a big scientific trip to map and study California's land. William H. Brewer was also a professor at Yale University. He led a team that explored the high Sierra Nevada mountains in 1864.
