Mount Healy is a mountain in Alaska, United States. It stands 5,716 feet (1,742 meters) tall. You can find it in the Alaska Range, inside Denali National Park and Preserve.
The local Denaʼina language name for Mount Healy is Dlel Neelghu Nodaadlghunee. This means "mountains that are joined together."
Mount Healy is very close to the park's main office. It is also about 6 miles (10 km) south of the town of Healy. The George Parks Highway and the Alaska Railroad both run along the eastern side of the mountain. They pass through the Nenana River Gorge there.
Mount Healy is a long ridge, about nine miles (14 km) from east to west. It has jagged peaks and spires. The mountain's name comes from John J. Healy (1840–1908). He was a manager for a trading company. The name was officially recorded in 1921.

Mount Healy is a popular spot for day hikes. This is because it's so close to the entrance of Denali National Park.
The mountain has different types of plant life. At the bottom, you'll find boreal forest. As you go higher, the trees disappear. The top parts have barren alpine ridges and even snowfields.
Weather at Mount Healy
Mount Healy has a subarctic climate. This means it has long, cold, and snowy winters. The summers are usually mild.
Temperatures can drop very low, sometimes below −20 °C (–4 °F). With the wind, it can feel even colder. The best time to visit or climb Mount Healy is usually from May through June. The weather is most pleasant during these months.
Water from the mountain flows into the Nenana River. This river is part of the larger Tanana River system.
