Musson is a town in Belgium. It's located in the province of Luxembourg, which is part of Wallonia. A municipality is like a local government area, similar to a county or district.
As of January 1, 2022, about 4,650 people lived in Musson. The area of the municipality is about 34.81 square kilometers. This means there are about 133 people living in each square kilometer.
The municipality of Musson includes the main town of Musson and another area called Mussy-la-Ville. Other smaller communities within the municipality are Baranzy, Gennevaux, Signeulx, and Willancourt.

Getting Around Musson
Musson is connected by several roads and bus lines, making it easy to travel to nearby towns.
Major Roads and Highways
Musson itself doesn't have a direct highway entrance. The closest one is exit 3 of the A28/E411 highway, which is in the nearby town of Aubange.
There is one important national road, the N88, that goes through Musson. This road connects the Luxembourg border in Athus to Virton and Florenville. Another road, the N82, briefly crosses the northwest part of the municipality for about 800 meters. All these N-roads are looked after by the Walloon government.
Here are some of the main roads that cross the Musson area:
- N82: Connects Virton to Arlon.
- N88: Connects Luxembourg (Pétange) to Athus, then goes through Musson, Baranzy, Signeulx, Virton, and Florenville.
- N800: Connects Musson to Rachecourt.
Some communities like Mussy-la-Ville, Willancourt, and Gennevaux can only be reached by local roads.
Border Crossings
Musson is close to the border with France. There are two places where you can cross into France from the Musson municipality:
- From Baranzy to Gorcy.
- From Signeulx to Ville-Houdlémont.

Train and Air Travel
There is a railway line (line 165) that crosses Musson, connecting Virton and Aubange. However, there are no active train stations in Musson itself.
If you need to fly, the closest airport with commercial flights is Luxembourg Airport. It's about 38 kilometers (23 miles) northeast of Musson.
