Nadia Turner was born on January 11, 1977. She is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She is also known as a radio and TV personality. Many people know her best from the TV show American Idol. She finished in eighth place during the fourth season of the show.

Nadia Turner's Career Journey
Before American Idol
Before she became famous on American Idol, Nadia Turner was a cheerleader. In 1996, she cheered for the Miami Dolphins.
In 2000, she had a special performance. She sang at the 26th G8 summit in Okinawa, Japan. This event was for important world leaders, including President Clinton.
Her Time on American Idol in 2005
Nadia Turner became well-known during the fourth season of American Idol. She was a strong singer and made it far in the competition. She performed many different songs during her time on the show.
She sang songs by famous artists like Paul McCartney and Dusty Springfield. Nadia made it into the Top 8 finalists before she was eliminated. Her performances were often praised for their energy and unique style.

In 2008, her song "Standing On Love" was part of a special CD. This CD was called "Hot Tracks" and was given away with Edy's SlowChurned Ice Cream. The disc also had songs from other former American Idol singers. She also released "Standing On Love" as a single, which included another song called "Beautiful Man."
In 2021, Nadia's daughter, Zaréh, also tried out for American Idol. She sang "Bust Your Windows" by Jazmine Sullivan. All the judges liked her and sent her to Hollywood. However, Zaréh was eliminated later during Hollywood Week. She sang "One and Only" by Adele in the R&B challenge.
