Nassau (pronounced NASS-aw) is a small city located in Lac qui Parle County, which is in the state of Minnesota, United States. In 2010, the city had a population of 72 people. By 2020, the population was 65.

History of Nassau

Nassau started with a post office in 1888. A post office is where mail is sent and received. This post office served the community for many years. It closed down in 1998.

The city of Nassau was officially planned out in 1893. This process is called "platting." It means marking out streets, blocks, and lots on a map.
