Natalie Palamides (born January 6, 1990) is an American actress, comedian, and writer. She is famous for her unique live comedy shows and for being the voice of Buttercup in the 2016 reboot of The Powerpuff Girls.

Comedy and Acting Career
After college, Natalie Palamides moved to Los Angeles with the dream of working on the TV show Saturday Night Live. She joined the Upright Citizens Brigade, a famous comedy group where she learned and performed improvisational comedy. She also started doing voice-over work for commercials and cartoons.
To improve her skills, Palamides took classes in clown performance. She trained at the famous École Philippe Gaulier in France under the master clown Philippe Gaulier. In 2022, she even interviewed her former teacher alongside Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton for their TV series Gutsy.
Unique Live Shows
Palamides became known for creating very original and funny characters for her live shows. One of her first hour-long shows featured her dressed as a giant egg.
Another famous show was Nate – A One Man Show. In this performance, she played an over-the-top male character named Nate. The show was interactive, meaning members of the audience could participate in activities like wrestling with Nate. The show explored themes of how people interact and give permission for things. It was so successful that it won an award at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, a huge arts festival in Scotland. Later, it was turned into a special for Netflix.
In August 2024, Palamides performed a new show called WEER at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It was described as a "one-woman romcom," or a romantic comedy performed entirely by her. The show received excellent reviews.
Voice Acting and Television
Many people know Natalie Palamides from her voice work. Her most famous role is voicing Buttercup in the 2016 version of The Powerpuff Girls.
She has also provided voices for many other animated shows, including:

- Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure
- The Owl House, where she voiced a teenage version of the character Eda
- Tiny Toons Looniversity, where she voices Shirley the Loon and Furball
Besides voice acting, Palamides has appeared in TV commercials for Progressive Insurance as the character Mara. She also co-hosts a Disney-themed podcast called Hidden Mickeys.
Movie Roles
In 2023, Palamides starred in the comedy movie Apocalypse Clown. She played a silly and wild clown named Funzo. Critics loved her performance, calling it hilarious and praising how she could switch from acting innocent to crazy in the same scene.
