Natalie Palamides (born January 6, 1990) is a talented American actress, comedian, and writer for TV shows. She is known for her funny characters and unique performances.

Natalie Palamides's Career Highlights
Natalie Palamides dreamed of working on the famous TV show Saturday Night Live. After college, she moved to Los Angeles. There, she joined the Upright Citizens Brigade, a well-known comedy group. She started doing voices for cartoons and commercials. Natalie also took classes to learn how to perform as a clown. Through these classes and other shows, she began creating longer comedy performances. She often used funny costumes and ideas she came up with on the spot.
Her Unique Shows
Natalie took an egg costume from one of her sketches. She used it to create her first hour-long show, called Laid.
She also developed a funny character named Nate. This character came from her work with the Pig Iron Theatre Company. She turned Nate into an hour-long show called Nate – A One Man Show. In this show, audience members can even join in, like by wrestling Nate! The show won an award at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Later, Amy Poehler's company, Paper Kite, helped bring it to Netflix. It was released on December 1, 2020.
Voice Acting and TV Roles
Natalie Palamides is also a voice actress. She voiced Buttercup in the 2016 reboot of The Powerpuff Girls. This was a main role for her.
In 2017, she won the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.
You might have seen Natalie in TV commercials for Progressive Insurance. She plays the character "Mara" in these ads. She also co-hosts a podcast about Disney called Hidden Mickeys with Carrie Poppy.
Recent Work
In 2023, Natalie played a horror movie-style clown named Funzo in the film Apocalypse Clown. This comedy movie won an award for Best Irish Film. Even though some people had mixed feelings about the movie's humor, Natalie's performance as Funzo was highly praised. One reviewer said she could go "from seeming innocence to apparent insanity" in the same scene. Another praised her "deranged and hilarious" acting.
In August 2024, Natalie performed her show WEER at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. This show, described as a "one-woman romcom," received a lot of positive reviews.
