Nataly Rivera, known to her fans as Naëla, is a talented singer, writer, and songwriter from Bogota, Colombia. She started her music journey in 2010, opening for the Mexican group Camila in Bogota. Soon after, she released her first song, "No Quiero Estar Sin Ti", which was part of her first album, Naëla. In 2011, she released two more popular songs from the album: "Esta Noche Mando Yo" and "Muero Por Amarte".

Naëla's Music Journey

Starting Her Career (2009–2010)

Naëla officially began her music career on December 10, 2009. She performed her first show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Bogota. Over 300 people, including journalists, business owners, and her family and friends, came to support her.

On February 16, 2010, she released her first song, "No Quiero Estar Sin Ti". It was a big hit and led to many exciting opportunities. She appeared on the TV show Tierra De Cantores and performed her song on the premiere of the TV series La Pola. Her success also earned her the "Best Female National Artist" award at the Dj TV Awards in 2010.

New Songs and First Album (2011)

On March 21, 2011, Naëla released her second song, "Muero Por Amarte". The music video for this song came out the next day. This song was very popular and even reached number 9 on the National Latin Top 20 chart.

Naëla was also invited to perform at a special event for the newspaper El Tiempo, alongside other famous artists like Jorge Celedón.

A big moment for Naëla happened on May 11, 2011. She was chosen to open for the Mexican group Camila at their concert in Bogota. Besides singing her own songs, she also performed her version of "Equivocada", a song originally sung by Thalía. Her performance as Camila's opening act helped her reach number 1 on the National Top 10 chart, competing with artists like Enrique Iglesias and Luis Fonsi.

On September 11, 2011, Naëla released her third song, "Esta Noche Mando Yo", which was a duet with singer Obie-P. This song also did very well, reaching number 9 and then number 5 on the National Latino chart. The audio video for the song was released on her official YouTube channel that same day.

Naëla released her first album, also called Naëla, on November 19. It featured 11 songs that she wrote and produced herself, with help from Mauricio Rivera and Carlos Agüera.

International Recognition (2012-2014)

In January 2012, Naëla was invited by singer Franco De Vita to sing his hit song "Tan Sólo Tú". Her song "Esta Noche Mando Yo" became popular on radio stations in Ecuador and was one of the top 10 songs in her home country, Colombia. Later, she released her fourth song, "Por Tu Amor", in a new urban style. The music video for this song was released on May 16, 2012, and quickly became a top hit on music video channels.

Because of the success of "Por Tu Amor", Naëla was invited to appear on the TV show Protagonistas de Nuestra Tele on RCN TV, where she performed "Esta Noche Mando Yo". She was also a judge on the TV program Sábados Felices on Caracol TV.

Naëla was nominated for a Shock Award in Colombia for "Best New Solo Artist" for her song "Esta Noche Mando Yo".

On September 6, 2012, Naëla released "Falso Amor", the first song from her next album. She wrote and produced this song with White Shark and her brother, Mauricio Rivera. The music video for "Falso Amor" was released on October 29, 2012. Naëla went on a tour to promote "Falso Amor", performing at various events and concerts. Her second album was expected to be released in March 2013.

On April 21, 2013, Naëla shared on Twitter that she would be part of the Billboard Latin Music Awards meetings in Miami, Florida. She joined other artists like Carlos Vives, Alejandra Guzmán, and Gloria Estefan at these events.

She then released "Sin Mirar Atrás" as the second song from her second album, Imparable. This album was produced by Luis Fernando Ochoa, who is known for working with Shakira.

Naëla also released "Quizas", her first song released only in Spain. On September 18, she confirmed that "Besar El Cielo" would be the next song from her album.

In October, Carlos Vives chose Naëla to open for him at his "Corazón Profundo Tour" concerts in Madrid and Barcelona.

In May 2014, Naëla performed at the Evento 40 twice, singing songs from her album Imparable. On September 8, she released a new song, "Bazar", which was a cover of a song by the Mexican girl group Flans. On September 22, 2014, she released her first remix album, The Remixes, which included remixes of songs from her second album.

Naëla was nominated for the Premios 40 America in Argentina for "Best Artist or Group of Colombia". She was the only Colombian female artist nominated in this category.

New Album: Renacer (2015-Present)

On March 3, 2015, Naëla was invited to a special dinner hosted by the King of Spain Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia of Spain at the Royal Palace of Madrid. The event also included the President of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos and his wife, along with famous footballers James Rodríguez and Carlos Bacca.

In early 2015, Naëla started sharing details about her new album on social media using the hashtag #RenacerNaela. She confirmed that her third album would be called Renacer. On May 29, she announced that the first song from this album would be "Cada Momento", released on June 9. The music video for "Cada Momento" was released on her official YouTube channel the same day.

On July 31, 2015, she announced that she would perform at the KeBuena Summer Festival in Spain. In December, to remember John Lennon of The Beatles, Naëla teamed up with Spanish singer Bely Basarte to perform an acoustic version of Lennon's famous song "Imagine".

In late February, Naëla began sharing promotional videos for her album Renacer, focusing on themes like "FEELING," "PERCEPTION," and "MATERIALITY."
