Gabriela Alejandra Guzmán Pinal (born 9 February 1968) is a famous Mexican pop and rock singer. She has sold over 30 million records in her career. Alejandra is known as "La Reina del Rock" (the Queen of Rock). She is one of the most successful female singers from Mexico. Her parents are actress Silvia Pinal and singer Enrique Guzmán.

Early Life and Family
Gabriela Alejandra Guzmán Pinal was born on February 9, 1968, in Mexico City. Her mother, Silvia Pinal, was married for the third time when Alejandra was born. Alejandra has two older half-sisters, Sylvia Pasquel and Viridiana Alatriste. Her younger brother, Luis Enrique Guzmán, is her only sibling with both the same mother and father.
Alejandra grew up surrounded by the entertainment world. Her parents were both very famous. When she was 14, her older sister Viridiana Alatriste passed away in a car accident. This event deeply affected Alejandra. After this sad time, she became very determined to enjoy life. She often went out to experience the lively nightlife of Mexico City. During these times, Alejandra met Kenny Aviles from the band Kenny y Los Electricos. Kenny became a mentor figure to her. It was then that Alejandra realized she wanted to be a performer.

Alejandra Guzmán started her music journey in 1988. Her first song was Bye Mamá, which she dedicated to her mother. In the 1990s, she released many popular albums. Alejandra's Personal Life
Alejandra Guzmán has had several relationships. Her first public relationship was with Erik Rubin. This relationship ended quickly due to some disagreements. She later had a relationship with Pablo Moctezuma, a businessman. They had a daughter named Frida Sofía, born in March 1992. Alejandra and Pablo later separated.
Alejandra married American businessman Farrell Goodman in 1998. Their marriage ended very quickly. After her divorce, she had another public relationship with Gerardo Gómez de la Borbolla. This relationship also ended.
In 2007, Alejandra was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was able to recover because it was found early. In 2009, she faced serious health challenges. She needed many surgeries over several years to recover.
