History of New Hampton
New Hampton was started around 1855. It got its name from New Hampton, New Hampshire. One of the people who founded the city came from there.
Geography and Location
New Hampton is located in a specific spot on Earth. Its coordinates are 43.059701 degrees North and -92.314703 degrees West.

Education in New Hampton
The New Hampton Community School District runs the public schools in the area.
There is also a private school called St. Joseph's Catholic School. It is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Dubuque. The first school building opened in 1904. After a fire in 1921, a new school was built in 1922. This new building cost over $56,000 and included a space for a stage, auditorium, or gym.
