Nino Sulaberidze (Georgian: ნინო სულაბერიძე), known as Nina Sublatti (Georgian: ნინა სუბლატი), is a talented Georgian singer, songwriter, and model. She was born on January 31, 1995.
Nina became famous around the world when she represented Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Her song was called "Warrior". She finished 11th in the contest. Before that, Nina won the 2013 season of the Georgian version of Idols. Later, in 2016, she became a judge on X Factor Georgia. She also judged the Georgian Idols show again.

Nina's Early Life and Career Beginnings
Nina Sublatti was born in Moscow, Russia, on January 31, 1995. Her parents are from Georgia. Her birth name is Nino Sulaberidze. Soon after she was born, her family moved back to Georgia. For a short time when she was a child, Nina also lived in Riga, Latvia.
In 2008, Nina started her career in modeling. She signed a contract with a modeling agency. By early 2009, fashion scouts noticed her. She began modeling for popular magazines. While modeling, Nina also performed music across Georgia. She worked with different bands, including The Mins. In 2011, Nina started working with Georgian Dream Studio. This is an important music studio where she worked with singer Bera Ivanishvili.
Winning Georgian Idol and First Album
In 2013, Nina Sublatti won Georgian Idol. This is the Georgian version of the famous Idols TV show. The next year, she released her first album. It was called Dare to Be Nina Sublatti. This album became the best-selling album ever in Georgia. Five songs on the album were covers of popular songs. These included "Blue Jeans" by Lana Del Rey and "Uninvited" by Alanis Morissette. Nina had performed these two songs on Sakartvelos Varskvlavi, which is another name for Georgian Idol.
Representing Georgia at Eurovision 2015
After her first album was a big hit, Nina was chosen as one of five singers. They were competing to represent Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Her song for the competition was "Warrior".
On January 14, 2015, Nina won the national final. She received 38.1% of the public votes. The official jury also gave her a high score. The public had two weeks to vote for their favorite artist. This voting period was from January 1 to January 14, 2015.
To get ready for Eurovision, Nina worked with a Swedish composer named Thomas G:son. She also worked with a Swedish choreographer, Sacha Jean-Baptiste. Nina performed "Warrior" in the Eurovision semi-finals on May 19, 2015. She did very well and moved on to the grand final. In the semi-final, she placed fourth with 98 points. In the final, she finished eleventh, earning 51 points.

Nina Sublatti has shared that her biggest musical inspirations are Janis Joplin, Brian Molko, and Björk. She enjoys drawing her own tattoos and has several on her body. Nina is married to George Shamanauri, who is a Georgian trumpeter. They sometimes work together on music projects. Nina and George welcomed their first child, Alex, in 2020.
