Nistosap Lake is a cool lake in Manitoba, Canada. It was formed by glaciers long ago. The lake is found about 22 kilometres (14 mi) northeast of a place called Bakers Narrows.
This lake is part of the Mistik Creek system. Water from Mistik Creek flows into and out of Nistosap Lake. All this water eventually makes its way to the Nelson River. From there, it travels to Hudson Bay.
The land around the lake is covered by a mix of trees. These include both leafy trees (deciduous) and evergreen trees (coniferous). The area has rocky hills that run side by side. There are also wet, spongy areas called muskeg. The lake's edges are uneven and stony. This is because of the powerful glaciers that shaped the land. Nistosap Lake is also part of a popular 80 kilometres (50 mi) canoe route. This route is known as the "Mistik Creek Loop." It usually takes about four days to paddle.
