Racing Career Highlights
Starting Out in Racing

Noah Gragson began racing Bandoleros at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring when he was 13. He then moved on to compete in late model cars. He also raced in the INEX Legends car racing series. In 2014, he won the Young Lion Road Course championship in that series.
Racing in Regional Series
ARCA Menards Series West
In 2015, Gragson joined Jefferson Pitts Racing for the ARCA Menards Series West. He drove the No. 7 car with sponsorship from AlertID. In his first race, he finished third after starting eighth.
At Tucson Speedway, Gragson earned his first career victory. He also won at Meridian Speedway, leading 176 laps. In his first year of stock car racing, Gragson finished second in points. He also won the Rookie of the Year award.
Gragson returned to the West Series for one race in 2019 at Sonoma Raceway. He also raced there in 2024 for Rette Jones Racing.
K&N Pro Series East
In 2015, Gragson competed in two races in the ARCA Menards Series East. He finished eighth in his first race at Watkins Glen International.
ARCA Racing Series
Gragson raced in the ARCA Menards Series from 2015 to 2018. He drove for teams like Mason Mitchell Motorsports and Venturini Motorsports. His best finish was fourth place at Chicagoland Speedway in 2017. In 2018, he started from pole position at Pocono Raceway and finished tenth.
In 2024, Gragson returned to ARCA. He drove the No. 30 car for Rette Jones Racing at Watkins Glen International.
NASCAR Truck Series Career
In 2016, Gragson drove for Wauters Motorsports in two races. This helped him get ready for the 2017 season. He then joined Kyle Busch Motorsports for the 2017 season.
In 2017, he got his first Truck Series win at Martinsville Speedway. He passed Matt Crafton with only 10 laps left. He finished tenth in the points standings that year.
Gragson continued with Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2018. He won his second career race at Kansas Speedway. He led most of the race, showing his skill. He finished second in the points standings that season.
NASCAR Xfinity Series Career
Starting with Joe Gibbs Racing and JR Motorsports
Noah Gragson made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 2018. He drove the No. 18 car for Joe Gibbs Racing in three races.
In 2019, Gragson joined JR Motorsports full-time, driving the No. 9 Chevrolet. He had a strong rookie year. He earned seven top-five finishes and 17 top-ten finishes. This helped him qualify for the Playoffs.
In 2020, Gragson won the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway. He finished fifth in the points standings that year.
Gragson continued with JR Motorsports in 2021. He won two races at Darlington Raceway and Richmond Raceway. He also won at Martinsville, which helped him reach the Championship 4 for the first time. He finished third in points.
The 2022 season was a big year for Gragson. He won eight races, including four in a row! This tied a record set in 1983. He made it to the Championship 4 again and finished second in the final standings.
Returning Part-Time in 2024
In 2024, Gragson returned to the Xfinity Series part-time. He drove the new No. 30 car for Rette Jones Racing. He finished in the top 10 at Charlotte and top 5 at Nashville.
NASCAR Cup Series Career
Early Cup Starts

Noah Gragson tried to make his NASCAR Cup Series debut in the 2021 Daytona 500. He drove the No. 62 Chevrolet for Beard Motorsports. Unfortunately, a crash in a qualifying race stopped him from making it into the main event.

He successfully qualified for the 2022 Daytona 500. He also shared the No. 16 Cup car for Kaulig Racing. His best finish was fifth place at the 2022 Coke Zero Sugar 400. Later in 2022, he filled in for an injured driver, Alex Bowman, in the No. 48 car for Hendrick Motorsports for several races.
Rookie Season and Suspension

In 2023, Gragson became a full-time Cup Series driver. He drove the No. 42 for Legacy Motor Club. During the season, he had a disagreement with another driver, Ross Chastain, that led to a physical fight.
Later, Gragson was suspended by NASCAR. This was because he violated rules about member conduct due to something he liked on social media. He asked to be released from his contract to focus on getting back to racing. After completing special training, NASCAR lifted his suspension, allowing him to return to the sport.
Joining Stewart–Haas Racing

In December 2023, Gragson signed a deal with Stewart–Haas Racing to drive the No. 10 car in 2024. He started the season strong with a ninth-place finish at the 2024 Daytona 500. He also achieved a career-best third-place finish at Talladega.
However, in May 2024, Stewart–Haas Racing announced they would close down their NASCAR operations at the end of the season.
Future with Front Row Motorsports
On July 10, 2024, it was announced that Gragson would join Front Row Motorsports starting in 2025. He will drive the No. 4 car for the team.
Other Racing Adventures
Late Model Racing

Gragson has also had success in late model racing. In 2017, he won the Winchester 400. In 2018, he won the Snowball Derby, a very famous late model race. He continued to race late models in 2023 after his NASCAR suspension was lifted.
Pinty's Series
To gain more experience, Gragson also raced in the NASCAR Pinty's Series in 2018. He also raced in one Pinty's Series event in 2023.
About Noah Gragson
Noah Gragson comes from a family with a history in Las Vegas. His great-grandfather, Oran K. Gragson, was the mayor of Las Vegas for many years. His grandfather and father were also important real estate developers there.
Gragson has dyslexia and a learning disability, which made school challenging. He attended the Army and Navy Academy for two years. He finished his high school education online. Outside of racing, Noah enjoys downhill mountain biking and playing video games like Fortnite.
