What is Nubanusit Lake?
Nubanusit Lake is an important part of the local water system. It is the starting point for Nubanusit Brook. This brook is a small river that flows into a larger one called the Contoocook River. The Contoocook River then joins the even bigger Merrimack River. This whole system is known as a drainage basin, which means all the water from the lake and its streams eventually flows into these larger rivers.
