Number Ten Creek is a small waterway, also known as a creek, located in Belleville, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the larger Moira River and Lake Ontario water systems. This creek helps drain water from the land around it, sending it towards the Great Lakes.

Journey of Number Ten Creek

Where Does the Creek Start?

Number Ten Creek begins its journey in an open field. This starting point is about 139 meters (456 feet) above sea level. It is located about 2.7 kilometers (1.7 miles) southeast of a small place called Moira.

How Does the Creek Flow?

First, the creek flows west and enters a small, unnamed pond. Here, another small stream joins it from the right side. After this, Number Ten Creek turns and starts flowing south.

It continues its path, passing to the east of the community of Phillipston. Then, it heads southwest, moving through the area known as Zion Hill.

Where Does the Creek End?

Finally, the creek turns southeast for its last stretch. It reaches its end, or "mouth," at another creek called Chrysal Creek. This meeting point is about 104 meters (341 feet) above sea level. Chrysal Creek then flows into the Moira River, which eventually empties into the Bay of Quinte in downtown Belleville.
