Not to be confused with Naosaurus, a type of ancient reptile called a pelycosaur.
Nurosaurus is the name given to a type of giant, long-necked sauropod dinosaur. It lived during the Cretaceous period in what is now Inner Mongolia, China. This huge dinosaur was a herbivore, meaning it ate only plants. Nurosaurus could grow to be about 25 meters (82 feet) long! Its full scientific name is Nurosaurus qaganensis, and it was named by a scientist named Dong in 1992.
