Orizari Glacier (which means "Orizari ice stream" in Bulgarian) is a cool natural ice river found in Antarctica. It's about 3 nautical miles (5.6 km; 3.5 mi) (around 5.5 kilometers) long and 0.5 nautical miles (0.93 km; 0.58 mi) (about 0.9 kilometers) wide. This glacier is located in a very cold place called the Ellsworth Mountains.

The Orizari Glacier is part of the Veregava Ridge. This ridge is on the eastern side of the Sentinel Range. The glacier gets its ice from the northern slopes of a mountain called Mount Waldron. It then flows towards the north-northwest. Eventually, it joins up with another glacier, the Dater Glacier, which is west of Sipey Peak.

This glacier was named after some towns in southern Bulgaria. It's a way to honor the country's connection to Antarctic research.

Where is Orizari Glacier?

The Orizari Glacier is located in a very remote part of Antarctica. Its exact spot is at 78°26′10″S 84°56′00″W / 78.43611°S 84.93333°W / -78.43611; -84.93333. This area is part of Ellsworth Land.

Scientists and mapmakers from the United States mapped this region in 1988. This helped us understand where the glacier is and how big it is. Glaciers are important because they show us how Earth's climate is changing.
