Otter Creek is a small creek located in Ontario, Canada. It is part of the larger Moira River and Lake Ontario water systems. This creek flows through several areas, including Tweed in Hastings County, Addington Highlands in Lennox and Addington County, and Central Frontenac in Frontenac County.

About Otter Creek

Otter Creek is an important part of the natural environment in southeastern Ontario. It helps carry water from smaller lakes and streams into larger rivers. The water from Otter Creek eventually makes its way into Lake Ontario, which is one of the Great Lakes.

Where Otter Creek Starts

Otter Creek begins in two main places. One source is an unnamed lake in Addington Highlands, which is part of Lennox and Addington County. This spot is about 256 meters (840 feet) above sea level.

The second source is Wallbridge Lake, located in Central Frontenac, Frontenac County. This part of the creek starts at about 212 meters (696 feet) above sea level.

Where Otter Creek Ends

After flowing through different areas, Otter Creek eventually joins the Clare River. This meeting point is near the town of Tweed in Hastings County. At this location, the creek is about 144 meters (472 feet) above sea level. The Clare River then flows into the Moira River, and finally, the water reaches Lake Ontario.
