Pamela Adelaide Genevieve Wyndham Glenconner Grey (born January 14, 1871 – died November 18, 1928) was an English writer. She was known as Lady Glenconner and later Viscountess Grey of Fallodon. Pamela was married first to Edward Tennant, 1st Baron Glenconner. Later, she married Edward Grey, 1st Viscount Grey of Fallodon. She was one of the famous Wyndham Sisters painted by John Singer Sargent. These sisters were important figures in the cultural and political life of their time. Like their parents, they were part of a group called The Souls.

Early Life and Family
Pamela Wyndham was born on January 14, 1871. Her birthplace was Clouds House in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. Her parents were Percy Wyndham and Madeline Caroline Frances Eden Campbell. Her family had many important connections.
In 1899, the famous artist John Singer Sargent painted Pamela and her sisters. Her sisters were Mary, who was married to the 11th Earl of Wemyss, and Madeline, who was married to Charles Adeane. This painting is known as the Wyndham sisters. The Times newspaper called it "the greatest picture of modern times."
Her Writing Career
Pamela Wyndham Glenconner was a talented writer. In 1919, she published a successful book of memories about her son. The book was called Edward Wyndham Tennant. Her son had sadly died during World War I.
She also wrote many other things. These included poems, stories, and books for children. She also helped put together collections of other people's poetry and stories.
Pamela was friends with many famous people of her time. These friends included the writers Henry James and Oscar Wilde. She was also friends with the artist Edward Burne-Jones. In 1895, Pamela married Edward Tennant, 1st Baron Glenconner. He was born in 1859 and died in 1920. Edward studied at Eton College and Trinity College, Cambridge. He became Baron Glenconner in 1911. From 1908 until his death, he held an important position as Lord Lieutenant of Peeblesshire. His sister, Margot Tennant, was married to H. H. Asquith. H. H. Asquith was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for many years.
Pamela and Edward Tennant had five children together:
- Clarissa Madeline Georgiana Felicite Tennant (1896–1960). She married Adrian Bethell, and later Lionel Tennyson, 3rd Baron Tennyson.
- Edward Wyndham Tennant (1897–1916). He was a war poet who died in the Battle of the Somme.
- Christopher Grey Tennant, 2nd Baron Glenconner (1899–1983). He married Pamela Paget.
- David Pax Tennant (1902–1968). He was a well-known socialite who started the Gargoyle Club in London.
- Stephen James Napier Tennant (1906–1987). He was a socialite known for his unique and artistic lifestyle. He was called "the brightest" of the "Bright Young People" group.
In 1922, Pamela married for a second time. She married Edward Grey, 1st Viscount Grey of Fallodon. He was born in 1862 and died in 1933. Edward Grey was a well-known politician from the Liberal Party. He served as a Member of Parliament. He was also the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and the British Ambassador to the United States.
Viscountess Grey, Pamela, died on November 18, 1928. She passed away at Wilsford Manor in Wilsford, Wiltshire, England. Her second husband died a few years later in 1933.
