Patricia Crowley is an American actress who has appeared in many movies and TV shows. She started acting in the 1950s and continued for many years. In 1953, she won a special Golden Globe award. This award was for being a "New Star of the Year" because of her great acting in films like Forever Female and Money From Home. She even starred alongside famous actors like Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, and Tony Curtis.

Early Film Roles

In 1953, Pat Crowley played Sally Carver in the movie Forever Female. She also starred as Dr. Autumn Claypool with the famous comedy duo Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis in Money from Home. Her roles in these two films helped her win the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year - Actress.

She worked with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis again in their last movie together, Hollywood or Bust (1956). Pat also starred with Rosemary Clooney in the musical Red Garters (1954). She appeared in the drama There's Always Tomorrow (1956) and the boxing movie The Square Jungle (1955) with Tony Curtis. She was also in the Western film Walk the Proud Land with Audie Murphy.

Television Appearances

Pat Crowley started acting on TV in the 1950s. She played Judy Foster in the daytime TV show A Date with Judy in 1951.

She made guest appearances on many popular TV shows throughout the 1950s and 1960s. These included The Untouchables, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Rawhide (with Clint Eastwood), and Wanted: Dead or Alive (with Steve McQueen). She also appeared in The Twilight Zone and The Fugitive.

Pat Crowley was a leading lady in an episode of Maverick called "The Rivals" in 1958. This episode was special because it starred both James Garner and Roger Moore.

From 1965 to 1967, she starred as Joan Nash in the TV comedy Please Don't Eat the Daisies. Later, from 1975 to 1976, she played Georgia Cameron in the Joe Forrester TV series.

She continued to appear on many well-known TV shows in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Some of these include Bonanza, Charlie's Angels, Columbo, Hawaii 5-0, The Rockford Files, and Murder, She Wrote. She also appeared in popular comedies like Happy Days, The Love Boat, Empty Nest, Roseanne, and Frasier.

Pat Crowley also had roles in TV soap operas. She was on Generations from 1989 to 1990, Port Charles from 1997 to 2003, and The Bold and the Beautiful in 2005. In 1986, she played Emily Fallmont in nine episodes of the nighttime soap opera Dynasty.

More recently, in 2001, Pat Crowley played the wife of baseball player Roger Maris in the TV movie 61*, which was directed by Billy Crystal. She also appeared in an episode of The Closer in 2006 and Cold Case in 2009. Her final film role was in Mont Reve in 2012.

Often Confused with Another Actress

Throughout her career, Pat Crowley was sometimes confused with another actress named Kathleen Crowley. They both appeared in many of the same TV shows during the same time. However, they were not related.

Personal Life

Pat Crowley supported Dwight Eisenhower when he ran for president again in 1956.
