Pedro Lomba Neto (born on 9 March 2000) is a Portuguese professional footballer. He plays as a winger for the English club Chelsea and the Portugal national team.
Pedro Neto began his career at Braga in Portugal. He was then loaned to the Italian club Lazio in 2017. In 2019, he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in England. During his time there, he faced several injuries. In August 2024, he moved to Chelsea. In his first season with Chelsea, he helped them win the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Neto played for Portugal's youth teams before making his senior team debut in November 2020. He scored in his very first match for the national team. He was part of the squad for UEFA Euro 2024 and helped Portugal win the 2024–25 UEFA Nations League.

Pedro Neto's journey in professional football started in Portugal and led him to top clubs in England.
Starting at Braga
Neto joined Braga's youth academy when he was 13 years old. On 7 May 2017, he made his first professional appearance for Braga's reserve team. A week later, he played his first game for the main team in the Primeira Liga. He scored a goal just minutes after coming on, becoming Braga's youngest goal scorer ever in that league.
In August 2017, Neto and his teammate Bruno Jordão were loaned to Lazio in Italy for two years. He played his first game in Serie A for Lazio in January 2019.
Time with Wolverhampton Wanderers
On 2 August 2019, Neto signed with Wolverhampton Wanderers, often called Wolves. He made his debut 12 days later in a UEFA Europa League match, where he scored a goal and set up another. A few days later, he played his first Premier League game.
Neto's first league start for Wolves was on 28 September 2019. He helped his team win by assisting a goal. He scored his first Premier League goal on 1 January 2020, becoming the first teenager to score for Wolves in the Premier League.
In October 2020, Neto scored his first league goal of the 2020–21 season. A month later, he signed a new contract with Wolves until 2025. He was named the best player in a match against Arsenal in November 2020, scoring and assisting a goal in a 2–1 win. This was Wolves' first away victory against Arsenal since 1979.

Neto suffered a serious knee injury in April 2021, which kept him out of action for a long time. He returned to play in February 2022. On his 22nd birthday, 9 March 2022, he signed another new contract, extending his stay until 2027. He scored his first goal after his injury in May 2022.
In September 2022, Neto played his 100th game for Wolves. The next month, he had ankle surgery, which kept him out for nearly five months. He returned to the field in March 2023.
Neto played his 100th Premier League match in October 2023, assisting a goal in a win against Bournemouth. He scored his first FA Cup goal in January 2024.
Joining Chelsea
On 11 August 2024, Pedro Neto joined Chelsea on a seven-year contract. He made his first appearance for Chelsea seven days later. He scored his first goal for the club on 24 September in an EFL Cup match. In his first season with Chelsea, he played 51 games and scored nine goals. He also helped Chelsea win the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
International Career

Youth and Senior Team Debuts
On 5 September 2019, at 19 years old, Neto earned his first cap for the Portugal under-21 team. He played in a 4–0 win against Gibraltar. On 5 November 2020, he received his first call-up to the senior national team. He made his debut on 11 November in a friendly match against Andorra, scoring the first goal in a 7–0 win. This made him the first player born in the 2000s to play for Portugal's senior team.
Major Tournaments
Neto was unable to play in the 2022 FIFA World Cup due to an injury he got while playing for his club. Despite facing more injury problems in the following years, he was chosen for UEFA Euro 2024 by the new manager, Roberto Martínez. In Portugal's first match against the Czech Republic, he came on as a substitute and helped set up the winning goal in the final minutes. He also played in other group stage matches against Turkey and Georgia.
Neto was also selected for Portugal's squad in the 2025 UEFA Nations League Finals. He started both games, including the final match against Spain, which Portugal won after a penalty shootout.
