Petrer is a town and municipality located in the Valencian Community of Spain. It is part of the Alicante province. The town is known for its rich history and vibrant culture.
Petrer is very close to the city of Elda. Together, these two places form a larger urban area with over 95,000 people. A small river, the Rambla dels Molins, flows through Petrer. This river is a branch of the bigger Vinalopó river.
