Phillip Bernard Daniels (born March 4, 1973) is a well-known figure in American football. He is currently the defensive line coach for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. This team plays in the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Before becoming a coach, Daniels was a professional American football player. He played as a defensive end for 15 seasons. He was part of the National Football League (NFL). The Seattle Seahawks picked him in the fourth round of the 1996 NFL draft. He also played for the Chicago Bears and the Washington Redskins.

College Football Career
Daniels attended the University of Georgia for college. He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs. He showed his versatility by playing different positions. In 2016, Daniels joined the Philadelphia Eagles. He started as an Assistant Defensive Line Coach. He helped the team win a Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl LII. The Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in that championship game.
In 2019, Daniels was promoted. He became the Eagles' main defensive line coach. He left the Eagles coaching staff in 2020.

Personal Life
Phillip Daniels is married to Leslie. They have four children together. Their two sons are named DaVaris and DaKendrick. Their two daughters are named Damara and DaKiya.
His son, DaVaris Daniels, also plays professional football. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame. He is a wide receiver for the Toronto Argonauts. Phillip Daniels is also the uncle of T. J. Jones. T. J. Jones also played wide receiver at the University of Notre Dame.
