About Its Name
The lizard's scientific name, kulzeri, honors a German beetle expert named Hans Kulzer. He lived from 1889 to 1974. Mr. Kulzer was the person who collected the very first example of this lizard. This first example is called the holotype.
Where It Lives
Kulzer's rock lizard is found in a few countries in the Middle East. You can find it in Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. It is a species that lives only in these areas.

Reproduction
