Pierre Carmelle Warren, born on August 16, 1992, is a former American football player. He played as a safety for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the NFL, he played college football at Jacksonville State University.

Early Life and High School Football
Pierre Warren grew up in Deatsville, Alabama. He played high school football at Marbury High School. He was a very good player, chosen as an "all-metro" player twice. In his senior year, he was also an "all-county" selection.
Warren played football for four years and was a starter for three years. He helped his team, the Bulldogs, reach the state playoffs. Besides football, he also played basketball. He was named his team's Most Valuable Player in basketball.
College Football Career
Pierre Warren played college football for the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. He played for them from 2011 to 2013. During his time in college, he made 166 tackles. He also had one sack and caught eight interceptions.
He returned two of his interceptions for touchdowns. Warren also defended 29 passes, forced one fumble, and recovered five fumbles. In 2013, he was named to the First Team All-OVC. This means he was one of the best players in his college conference.
Professional Football Journey
After college, Pierre Warren hoped to join the NFL. Experts thought he was one of the top free safeties in the 2014 NFL draft. However, he was not chosen by any team during the draft.
Joining the New Orleans Saints
On May 12, 2014, Warren signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted player. He was released by the Saints on August 30, 2014. A few days later, on September 2, 2014, he was signed to the Saints' practice squad. A practice squad is where players train with the team but are not on the main roster. He was released from the practice squad on September 18, 2014.
Time with the Minnesota Vikings
On October 7, 2014, Warren was signed to the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad. He continued to train and work hard with the Vikings.
Back with the Saints and NFL Debut
Warren was signed back to the New Orleans Saints from the Vikings' practice squad on November 18, 2014. He made his first NFL appearance on November 24, 2014. This was during a Monday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens. In that game, he started and made seven tackles.
On December 15, 2014, also on Monday Night Football, he had a great game against the Chicago Bears. He recorded his first two career interceptions in that game. Warren was released by the Saints on September 5, 2015.
Canadian Football League and Beyond
On February 3, 2016, Pierre Warren signed a contract with the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). However, after attending the first practice for new players, he decided he no longer wanted to play professional football. He informed the team's General Manager of his decision.
In 2017, Warren participated in The Spring League. This is a developmental football league for players looking to get another chance in professional football.
