Where is Pine Valley Located?
Pine Valley is in the northwestern part of Chemung County. It sits right on the edge of the towns of Catlin (to the west) and Veteran (to the east).
The community is in a valley next to Catharine Creek. This creek flows north into Seneca Lake, which is one of the famous Finger Lakes in New York. A creek that flows into a larger body of water is called a tributary.

New York State Route 14 is a main road that goes right through the middle of Pine Valley. This road helps people travel to nearby towns:
