The Hôpital universitaire Pitié-Salpêtrière is a well-known hospital in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. It is one of Europe's largest hospitals. It has a long history of treating patients with mental illnesses. Many famous people, worked there. Examples are Sigmund Freud, Georges-Gilles de la Tourette, and Jean-Martin Charcot.
