Queen of Fables: Her Story
The Queen of Fables was once a powerful magic-user from another dimension. She was sent away to Earth. She ruled for a time until Snow White stood up to her. Snow White managed to trap the Queen inside a special book called the Book of Fables. Using this book, Snow White could change the Queen's bad actions back to normal.
Escape and First Battle
Many years later, the Queen was accidentally set free from her prison. She quickly changed Manhattan city into a magical forest. This forest was filled with amazing creatures from old folk tales. After being freed, she looked for Snow White. She thought a television was a magic mirror. She asked it to show her "The Fairest In The Land." By chance, the TV was showing news about the Justice League. It was showing Wonder Woman at that moment.
The Queen believed Wonder Woman was Snow White. She faced Wonder Woman and put her into a deep sleep. This happened in the enchanted forest. Aquaman woke Wonder Woman with a kiss. He was once a Prince and is now the King of Atlantis. So, his kiss counted as a prince's kiss. Batman then found the book that had trapped the Queen. The Justice League eventually stopped her. They made her see that she was not immortal or beautiful in the real world. They locked her up again. This time, they trapped her in a book about the United States Tax Code. They hoped she would find nothing fun to use as a weapon there. This also undid her magic.
Later Adventures
The Queen of Fables eventually escaped from the U.S. Tax Code manual. She was very unhappy. She then decided to find her own "Prince Charming". She chose Superman for this role. She took Superman to a glass forest from his home planet, Krypton. Superman was able to escape and defeat her. This effort made him very tired. She was last seen watching a sleeping girl. She told the girl to "Sleep well, dear one. Keep me alive. Dream of me. Dream of me."
She appeared again later as a film executive named Laney Kirswel. This person was making a movie about Wonder Woman. The movie had many untrue and mean things in it. The Queen used this to cause trouble for Wonder Woman. She made Wonder Woman go through difficult situations. These were like the distorted events from the movie. Wonder Woman convinced her to turn into a huge dragon. Wonder Woman noticed the dragon looked like Maleficent. Diana then used two battle axes to blind the dragon. This forced the Queen to run away.
