Rafał Kazimierz Trzaskowski (pronounced RA-fow tsha-SKO-fsky [tʂaskɔfski]; born 17 January 1972) is a Polish politician. In November 2018, he became the Mayor of Warsaw. He is also a political scientist.
In May 2020, Trzaskowski became the Civic Platform's candidate for Presidency of Poland in the presidential election. He lost the election to incumbent President Andrzej Duda.
