Where is Randolph Located?
Randolph is located in the state of Maine. It sits south of the city of Augusta. The town is on the east side of the Kennebec River. Right across the river is the town of Gardiner. A small stream called Cobbesseeconte Stream also joins the river here.
The town covers a total area of about 2.23 square miles (5.78 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 2.13 square miles (5.52 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 0.10 square miles (0.26 square kilometers), is water.
Schools in Randolph
Students in Randolph are part of the Maine School Administrative District #11. There used to be an elementary school called Teresa C. Hamlin School. However, it closed in 2018 because fewer students were attending. Now, elementary students from Randolph travel by bus to the Pittston-Randolph Consolidated School, which is about a mile away.

Getting Around Randolph
Randolph is located on the eastern side of the Kennebec River. It is connected to the city of Gardiner by a road bridge. The river used to be easy to travel by boat up to Augusta. This changed when the Edwards Dam was built.
From 1890 to 1929, a special train called the Kennebec Central Railroad ran from Randolph. It went all the way to the National Soldiers' Home in Togus.
