Orlando Rashad Coulter, born on November 27, 1981, is an American professional mixed martial artist. He has competed in big fighting organizations like the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Bellator MMA, and Legacy Fighting Championship.

Who is Rashad Coulter?
Rashad was born in North Carolina. He later moved to Texas with his father. Before he started mixed martial arts (MMA), Rashad played American football for 17 years. He went to Plano East Senior High School and then to Texas A&M University–Commerce.
His dream of playing in the NFL ended when he had a serious injury to his leg. His childhood friend, Muhammed Lawal, introduced him to mixed martial arts. Rashad began training in Muay Thai in early 2010. Lawal also gave Rashad his nickname, "The Daywalker."

How Rashad Started in MMA
Rashad Coulter began his professional MMA career in June 2011. For the next five and a half years, he had a great record. He won 8 fights and lost only 1. All of his wins came by knockout, meaning he finished the fight by hitting his opponent until they could no longer continue.
Fighting in the UFC
Rashad made his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on May 13, 2017, at UFC 211. He stepped in on short notice to fight Chase Sherman. Rashad lost this fight in the second round by knockout. However, the fight was very exciting, and both fighters earned a "Fight of the Night" bonus award.
For his second UFC fight, Rashad faced Tai Tuivasa on November 19, 2017. He lost this fight in the first round after being hit by a flying knee.
His third UFC fight was on June 9, 2018, at UFC 225. He was supposed to fight Allen Crowder, but Chris de la Rocha replaced Crowder. Rashad lost this fight by TKO (Technical Knockout) in the second round.
In his fourth UFC fight, Rashad moved to the light heavyweight division. He fought Hu Yaozong on November 24, 2018. Rashad won this fight by unanimous decision, meaning all the judges agreed he won. This was his first win by decision in his career and his first win in the UFC.
After the UFC
After leaving the UFC, Rashad Coulter fought Ike Villanueva for the Fury FC Light Heavyweight Championship. This fight happened on December 13, 2019. Rashad was knocked down early in the fight and lost by TKO later in the first round.
He was scheduled for other fights in 2021 and 2022, but these fights were either changed or cancelled.
Bare-Knuckle Boxing Career
Rashad Coulter also tried bare-knuckle boxing, where fighters punch without gloves. He made his debut at BYB Extreme's BYB 16 Dubai Brawl in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He won this fight in the first round by TKO.
He had another win in bare-knuckle boxing in May 2023. In October 2023, he fought for the BYB Heavyweight Championship but lost by knockout.

Before joining the UFC, Rashad Coulter also competed in professional boxing. He had a record of 4 wins and 0 losses, with three of his wins coming by knockout. He later had two more professional boxing matches in 2022 and 2023.
