Ravindra Prabhat (born 5 April 1969) is a well-known writer from India. He writes in the Hindi language. He is a novelist, journalist, poet, and short story writer.

Early Life and Schooling
Ravindra Prabhat was born on April 5, 1969. His birthplace was a village called Mahindwara. This village is in Sitamarhi, Bihar, India. He grew up and went to primary school in Mahindwara.
For his higher education, he studied geography at B. R. Ambedkar Bihar University. This university is in Muzaffarpur. Later, he earned a Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. He got this degree from the Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University in Allahabad.
About His Family
Ravindra Prabhat comes from a Brahmin family. When he was eleven years old, he had a special initiation ceremony called upanayan. He married M. Prabhat on May 18, 1989. Their wedding took place in Bettiah. They have three children: one son and two daughters.
His Writing Career
Ravindra Prabhat started writing in 1987. He writes about many different topics. Some of his stories and poems have been translated into other languages. They have also appeared in various literary magazines and collections of writings.
Today, Prabhat is the main editor of two Hindi magazines. These magazines are called VatVriksh and Parikalpana Samay.
