Redstone Lake is a beautiful lake found in the northern part of Ontario, Canada. It's located in an area called the Unorganized North Part of Sudbury District. This lake is an important part of the Redstone River system and its waters eventually flow into James Bay.

How Water Flows in Redstone Lake

This section explains how water moves in and out of Redstone Lake. The main river that flows into and out of Redstone Lake is the Redstone River.

The Journey to James Bay

The Redstone River enters the lake from the southwest side and leaves from the northeast side. After leaving Redstone Lake, the water travels a long way. It flows into the Frederick House River, then into the Abitibi River, and finally into the Moose River. All these rivers eventually carry the water to James Bay, which is a large body of water connected to the Arctic Ocean.
