Where is Redvale Located?
Redvale is found in the southern part of Montrose County. It sits on a high flat area called Wrights Mesa. This area is part of the Colorado Plateau, a large region of high deserts and mountains.

Redvale is surrounded by natural features. To the southwest, you'll find Naturita Canyon. To the northeast, there's an area called Maverick Draw. The community also borders San Miguel County to the south.

Colorado State Highway 145 goes right through Redvale. This highway connects Redvale to other nearby towns:
- If you go northwest for about 10 miles (16 km), you'll reach Naturita.
- If you go southeast for about 9 miles (14 km), you'll arrive in Norwood.
