The Redwater River is a river in eastern Montana, United States. It is a branch, or tributary, of the much larger Missouri River. The Redwater River flows for about 110 miles (177 kilometers).

This river starts on the northern side of the Big Sheep Mountains. This area is in the northwestern part of Prairie County. From there, the Redwater River flows northeast across flat lands. It passes by the towns of Brockway and Circle. Finally, it joins the Missouri River in northeastern McCone County. This meeting point is about 4 miles (6 kilometers) south of Poplar.
