Richard Juan, born on August 2, 1992, is a well-known Filipino TV host, actor, and film producer. You might also know him as Richard Hwan. He first became popular on the TV show Eat Bulaga! in a segment called "You're My Foreignoy." He even won an award there! Later, he was a housemate on the reality show Pinoy Big Brother: 737.
Richard is also a successful businessman. He started a company called Two Infinity Entertainment. He also helped create 28 Squared Studios.

Growing Up and School
Richard Juan was born in the Philippines in 1992. When he was just one month old, his family moved to Hong Kong, where he grew up. He went to international schools there, including Island School for high school.
After high school, Richard came back to the Philippines. He studied at the University of the Philippines Diliman. He graduated with honors in Broadcast Communication.
Even though he lives permanently in Hong Kong, Richard is still a Filipino citizen. He speaks many languages! Besides his first language, Cantonese, he also speaks Filipino, English, Mandarin, and Hokkien.
Richard's Career
Richard's first time on national TV was on Eat Bulaga!. This show had a segment called "You're My Foreignoy." It featured foreigners living in the Philippines. They showed how well they understood Filipino culture.
In 2015, Richard joined the reality show Pinoy Big Brother: 737. He stayed in the house for a long time, making it to the top six contestants. In 2016, he became a host for UPFRONT at the UAAP. This show covered college sports for ABS-CBN Sports + Action.
Richard started acting on TV5 in a film called Wattpad Presents: AFGITMOLFM. He also appeared in an episode of Tadhana on GMA Network. In 2016, he hosted the backstage show for the Miss Universe 2016 pageant, which was held in the Philippines. Richard was also chosen for a show called "Create My Seoul" by TVN Asia.
In 2019, Richard joined the cast of the ABS-CBN show Love Thy Woman. He returned to Pinoy Big Brother as a host in 2020. He hosted both Pinoy Big Brother: Connect and Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10.
Richard also acted in the romantic comedy movie Connected in 2022. He starred alongside other Pinoy Big Brother: Connect contestants.
Making Movies
In 2021, Richard started his own digital entertainment company, 28 Squared Studios. This company worked with other big studios like CJ ENM. They helped find talented young people in the Philippines for "Boys Planet 999." This project aimed to create a new big boy band.
In 2022, Richard helped produce a short film called "The Safe Zone." This film was special because it was written and directed by ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence program.
Richard is also an executive producer for a new Filipino romance film. It's called Under Parallel Skies and is made by Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie stars Janella Salvador and Thai actor Metawin Opas-iamkajorn.
Helping Others
Richard Juan is also known for his charity work. In 2020, when the Taal Volcano erupted, he helped a lot. He got N95 masks from Hong Kong and gave them to people who had to leave their homes in Batangas, Philippines. He used his connections to help people in need.
Later in 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic began, Richard again helped out. He got protective gear from Hong Kong. He then donated it to many hospitals in Metro Manila.
In August 2020, Richard became a Goodwill Ambassador for SOS Children’s Village Philippines. This means he helps promote their work to support children.
