Richard Nurse was chosen by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 1990 CFL Draft. He was born in Trinidad and Tobago. However, he grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He played college football for the Canisius Golden Griffins before becoming a professional player.
Playing in the CFL
Richard Nurse was picked 23rd overall in the third round of the draft. He joined the Hamilton Tiger-Cats team in the Canadian Football League. A wide receiver is a player who runs routes and catches passes from the quarterback.
He played for the Tiger-Cats from 1990 to 1995. During his time with the team, he played in 103 games. He caught the ball 59 times for a total of 741 yards. He also scored six touchdowns for his team.
