Richard Seifert (born Reubin Seifert, 25 November 1910 – 26 October 2001) was a famous Swiss-British architect. He is best known for designing two very tall buildings in London: Centre Point and Tower 42. Tower 42 was once the tallest building in the City of London.

Richard Seifert had his own company called R. Seifert and Partners. This company was very busy in the 1960s and 1970s. They built many large office buildings in London. They also helped to rebuild parts of other big cities in Britain.

Richard Seifert's Life Story

Richard Seifert was born in Switzerland. His family moved to London when he was young. He went to the Central Foundation Boys' School. Later, he earned a scholarship to study at the Bartlett School of Architecture. He finished his studies in 1933.
