Rie Takahashi (born February 27, 1994) is a Japanese voice actress and singer. She works with a company called 81 Produce.
Rie is also part of a music group called Earphones. She has played many main characters in popular anime shows. Some of her famous roles include Megumin in KonoSuba, Emilia in Re:Zero, Takagi in Teasing Master Takagi-san, and Ai Hoshino in Oshi no Ko. She also voices Mash Kyrielight in the game Fate/Grand Order.
In 2016, Rie Takahashi won the Best Female Newcomer award at the 10th Seiyu Awards. This award celebrates new voice actors who have shown great talent.

About Rie Takahashi
Rie Takahashi was born in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. When she was in high school, she loved watching anime shows like Ojamajo Doremi and Soul Eater. She noticed that some voice actresses could play both male and female characters. This made her very interested in voice acting.
She decided she wanted to become a voice actress. In her last year of high school, she joined the broadcasting club. She even won a special award for her voice acting at a high school animation event.
After high school, Rie joined a training school run by 81 Produce, a voice acting agency. In 2013, she officially joined 81 Produce. Before becoming a full-time voice actress, she worked part-time jobs, including at a supermarket.
Her Career in Voice Acting
Rie Takahashi started her career in 2013. She had small roles in shows like Stella Women's Academy, High School Division Class C3.
In 2015, she got her first main role in the anime series Seiyu's Life!. In this show, she played Futaba Ichinose. She also formed the music group Earphones with her co-stars, Marika Kouno and Yuki Nagaku.
She quickly became known for many other roles:
- Miki Naoki in School-Live!
- Megumin in KonoSuba (starting in 2016)
- Emilia in Re:Zero
- Mirai Asahina/Cure Miracle in Witchy Pretty Cure!
- Mash Kyrielight in the game Fate/Grand Order
Rie often sings the opening and ending songs for the anime shows she stars in. For example, she sang "Stay Alive" for Re:Zero and many ending themes for Teasing Master Takagi-san.
In February 2021, Rie Takahashi started her solo singing career. Her first album, Tōmei na Fusen, came out in June 2021. She also won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 16th Seiyu Awards.
In April 2025, Rie Takahashi took a short break from work. She had surgery to help her voice. She is now back to her voice acting and singing activities.
