Early Life and College Football
Robert Drummond grew up in Apopka, Florida. He went to Jamesville-DeWitt High School in DeWitt, New York. After high school, he continued his football journey at Syracuse University. Playing college football helped him prepare for a professional career.
Playing in the NFL
In 1989, Robert Drummond was chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round of the 1989 NFL draft. The NFL Draft is where professional teams pick new players from college. He played for the Eagles from 1989 to 1991. After his time with the Eagles, he was also part of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos teams. These were mostly during the offseason or as a practice squad member.
