Roosevelt is a small city in the state of Minnesota, USA. It is located in two different counties: Lake of the Woods and Roseau. In 2010, about 151 people lived there. By 2020, the population had grown slightly to 153 people.

Roosevelt's History
The city of Roosevelt got its name from Theodore Roosevelt. He was the 26th president of the United States. A post office opened in Roosevelt way back in 1901. This means people have been sending and receiving mail there for over 120 years!
Roosevelt is also home to Knutson Grocery. This grocery store has been open for more than 100 years. It provides a full range of services to the community.
Where is Roosevelt Located?
Roosevelt covers an area of about 1.04 square miles (2.66 square kilometers). All of this area is land. Most of the city is in Roseau County. Only a very small part of it is in Lake of the Woods County.
The city is easy to find because it is located right along Minnesota State Highway 11. This highway helps people travel to and from Roosevelt.

In 2010, a special count of people called a census was done. It showed that 151 people lived in Roosevelt. These people lived in 61 different homes, and 42 of these were families.
Most of the people in Roosevelt were White (97.4%). A small number were Native American (2.0%). About 0.7% of the people were from two or more racial backgrounds. Also, 1.3% of the population identified as Hispanic or Latino.
