Rory Hugh Culkin (born July 21, 1989) is an American actor. He is known for his roles in movies like You Can Count on Me (2000) and Signs (2002). He also appeared in Scream 4 (2011) and Columbus (2017).
Rory has also acted in TV shows. These include Waco (2018) and Under the Banner of Heaven (2022). He was also in the Black Mirror (2023) episode "Beyond the Sea". He is the youngest brother of actors Macaulay and Kieran Culkin.

Rory's Early Life
Rory Hugh Culkin was born on July 21, 1989. He was born in New York City. He is the youngest of seven children. His father, Christopher "Kit" Culkin, was a Broadway actor. His mother is Patricia Brentrup.
Rory's siblings include Shane, Dakota, Macaulay, Kieran, Quinn, and Christian. He also had a half-sister named Jennifer. His aunt, Bonnie Bedelia, is also an actress. Rory's family has German, Irish, and Norwegian roots.
Rory's Acting Career
Rory started acting when he was very young. He often played younger versions of his older brothers' characters. For example, he appeared in a photo in The Good Son (1993). He played Young Richie in Ri¢hie Ri¢h (1994). His brother Macaulay played the older Richie.
In 2002, Rory played 10-year-old Igby in Igby Goes Down. His older brother Kieran played the 17-year-old Igby.
Breakthrough Roles
Rory's big break came in the movie You Can Count on Me (2000). He acted alongside Laura Linney. Critics praised his performance. He even won a Young Artist Award for this role.
After that, Rory appeared in many more films. He was in Signs (2002) with Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix. He also starred with Julia Garner in Electrick Children.
Independent Films
As a teenager, Rory started working on more independent films. These are movies made outside of big Hollywood studios. He had a main role in Mean Creek (2004). This film was about teenagers planning revenge on a bully. The whole young cast won an Independent Spirit Award for their work.

Rory has received three more nominations since his Young Artist Award win. He had a guest role in the TV show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He also appeared in The Twilight Zone.
In 2010, Rory was cast in the horror film Scream 4. It was released in 2011. He also played Euronymous in the movie Lords of Chaos (2018). This film tells the story of the Norwegian black metal music scene.
In 2014, Rory starred in the movie Gabriel. Critics praised his acting. He was nominated for the Gotham Independent Film Award for Breakthrough Actor. Rory's Personal Life
In April 2018, Rory Culkin married cinematographer Sarah Scrivener. Their wedding was in New Orleans, Louisiana. They met in 2009 while working on Scre4m.
In 2019, they worked together on the TV series City on a Hill. In 2022, they also collaborated on a music video. Sarah directed, produced, and filmed it for musician Quinn Murphy.
