Later that year, on December 23, 2016, Woods released his second EP, titled Nocturnal.
On July 20, 2017, he released "What Are You On?" This song was the first single from his first studio album, Say Less. A single is a song released on its own before an album. On November 17, 2017, he released the song "Say Less." His first studio album, also called Say Less, came out on December 1, 2017.
In 2018, on June 8, Roy Woods surprised fans by releasing two new songs, "Russian Cream" and "Snow White." He had not announced them beforehand.
